Orange County Convention Center's West Building, built over the span of two decades to accommodate the growing demands for conventions and tradeshows, is now enhanced by the addition of the North/South Building, making the OCCC the second largest meeting and convention facility in the country.
Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport, the Convention Center is surrounded by more than 32,000+ hotel rooms that are directly accessible by International Drive's own transportation system, the I-RIDE Trolley Service. The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) operates on-site vehicle parking at both the West Building and at the North/South Building. Additional parking is also offered at the OCCC’s Canadian Court Garage and neighboring hotels and entertainment complexes. Depending on the event, valet parking may also be available. Parking rates vary upon location, vehicle size and the entry time. Parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the primary public convention center for the Central Florida region. The center currently ranks as the second largest convention center in the United States (the first is McCormick Place in Chicago). The center currently offers 7 million square feet of total space. The large complex is located on International Drive, a major tourist area in Orlando, Florida. Solar panels on the roof of the convention center provide 1 MW of power.
